Memory Cards

I wanted to share with you one of my favorite things we do in our homeschool that I implemented last year.

Each day we start with memory work. To help us out on this, I made these cards with the memory work I wanted the boys to know. Things like our Presidents, States & Capitals, Grammar definitions, etc.

I got this idea from Nicci over at AFarmhouseFull. Nicci has a fantastic YouTube channel you should check out where she talks about homeschool and just life in general. You’ll love it, I promise!

Once I typed out the cards I wanted, I printed them on cardstock and laminated them. From there, I punched holes in the corner and added them onto a ring.

This has been the simplest, most genius idea I’ve come across and the boys know SO MUCH great information just by reciting it every week. (And seriously, I needed the refresher myself)

This idea could really be used for anyone, even outside of homeschooling. It could be a great resource to use for scripture memorization, personal declarations, or studying for school.

I hope you find this helpful. I’d love to hear any of your simple, super effective tools you use in your homeschool!

Growing with you,

Mo
